Character Description by Ethan
One time I was on the computer making a character and he started off as a boy. Then I put more stuff on him. He looks like this: he has a snake tongue and fins too. He has vampire ears and the hood of a snake and he has kind of swimming feet and crocodile tail. He has shorts and a top too. I do not know what I'm going to gall this creature - perhaps swimmer boy? Oh, I'm sorry I forgot to introduce him and tell you what he can do. He can swim really, really fast and he is really good. He can hiss too.

Wow Ethan - I am so proud of you gettiny your first piece of writing published on our blog! Well done for writing so many sentences and I particularly liked how to added extra detail to tell us about your creature. Keep up the fabulous writing. Mrs Wood :)
ReplyDeleteEthan! What a fantastic character description! I love your description - it gives me great imagery (pictures in my mind)..."Vampire ears" and "Hood of a Snake" really helps me to conjure up my own picture of your character!

ReplyDeleteI really like the fact that you've used the character for inspiration for your writing. I really like looking at the illustration and then looking at your writing and see what you see from the picture, then comparing it to what I see. There are also some Avatar sites around where you can make Superheroes and other monsters when you get back to school maybe thats something that you might want to try. Fabulous work.
He is a very cool and strange boy. What does he eat and where does he play?
ReplyDeleteWow Ethan! What a creative character. You have described your character really well. What does he eat?
ReplyDeleteEthan you are great at telling stories verbally and using your imagination to create your characters, I'm very proud of you for writing this story and the great discription you have given.
