Inquiry

Our inquiry this year is called Sand, Surf, Sun: St Clair - Scratching Beneath the Surface.  We have divided the year up into two different halves.  The first half of the year we looked at the science aspects of our inquiry and learnt about erosion, the importance of caring for sand hills and the habitats, how waves are formed, how sand is formed and the creatures that live along our coast.  The second half of the year has been looking at our community.  We recently put a team production on called The Sands of St Clair: - Our Story and this looked at the diverse range of people who have lived in this area and how our community has evolved over time.  This coming term we will continue exploring our community in more depth and we will be looking at ways we can contribute to our community.
