Paradise - by Lara

If you've been to the desert you might have seen me or maybe not.  It is because I fly high in the sky.  I'm a bird of paradise.  I am nearly extinct so I am the only one left, so if you have seen me, good for you!  When you see me you will see that I am a very small bird that smells like bubble gum.  I have wings that are red and yellow.  I eat mangojoers (these are prickly pears that are buttercup yellow on the outside and aubergine on the inside.  They taste like banana and mango bubblegum ice cream).  I also eat rastrawberry, spiky star-fruits that taste like watermelon ice cream.  I have peacock head feathers and I don't stay in water for a long time.  If you want to find me at the zoo, don't count on it as I sleep on the clouds!  Talking about bedtime, you'd better go before it's too late and monsters come to eat you!
