Today for our inquiry we revisited what we have learnt so far about some of the early settlers who lived in our local community. We have learnt that lots of different people came to settle in St Clair. They came from different parts of the world e.g. China, Ireland, England and Scotland and all came with the hope of breaking in a new land and starting a new life. We also had a look at an early settlers house on You Tube and while it may not be exactly the same as those people who settled in St Clair, we were able to see how different things were to what we have today. How many things can you notice that are different and how many things do you notice are the same?
